TL;DR

Paralegal / Contracts Coordinator (EdTech): Managing contract workflows and reviewing legal agreements for a digital K-12 curriculum provider with an accent on contract lifecycle management and regulatory compliance. Focus on drafting NDAs and licensing agreements, handling FOIA requests, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual integrity.

Location: Must be based in Tempe, AZ (Hybrid: onsite average 3 days per week)

Salary: $62,400 – $71,281 per year

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and revise standard agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, licensing, and SLAs.
  • Support contract negotiations by preparing summaries and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the contract workflow/lifecycle system, ensuring timely renewals and archival.
  • Monitor contract compliance and alert teams to key dates, obligations, and risks.
  • Assist with due diligence for strategic partnerships, grants, and procurement processes.
  • Manage production of print RFPs, original signatures, and notary for customer agreements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in paralegal studies and 3+ years of experience in contracts or legal support within education, publishing, or tech.
  • Must be based in Tempe, AZ to meet onsite requirements.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, and data privacy regulations in EdTech.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice to have

  • Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, NFPA).
  • Experience with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
