Legal Operations Manager (Defense)

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable processes across legal workflows and cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Finance, and HR teams.
• Own the selection, implementation, and management of the legal tech stack, including CLM, e-billing, and matter management.
• Evaluate and optimize workflows through automation and tooling.
• Manage outside counsel relationships, including bill reviews and spend controls.
• Oversee the Legal and Compliance budget, forecasting processes, and performance metrics reporting.
• Develop and maintain legal playbooks, templates, and internal resources.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate.
• Strong understanding of legal department workflows and pain points.
• Experience with legal technology (CLM, e-billing, matter management).
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to El Segundo, CA.
