What you will do

• Manage all aspects of the facility’s Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) programs to ensure injury-free operations.
• Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA 1910/1926 regulations and participate in VPP initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• Monitor safety performance through KPIs, audits, and field inspections.
• Oversee safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Coordinate medical surveillance programs and partner with facility leadership on safety performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Ronkonkoma, NY
• 3+ years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in industrial, power generation, or manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and wearing a full-face respirator.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coaching and influencing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
