What you will do

• Serve as the primary safety leader on-site, leading daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning reviews.
• Ensure site compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other industry standards through regular inspections and behavioral observations.
• Review and authorize high-risk work procedures, including LOTO, energized work, and confined space entry.
• Lead on-site incident response, conduct root-cause investigations, and develop corrective actions.
• Coach and mentor technicians and contractors to champion a "stop work authority" and "speak-up" safety culture.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Safety Program Director to align site documentation and governance with company policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of safety experience in construction, data centers, industrial, or technical installation environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, OSHA 1910, and NFPA 70E.
• Demonstrated experience conducting field inspections and influencing safe work behavior.
• Ability to manage safety programs in multi-contractor, fast-paced environments.
• Must be located in or able to work on-site in Atlanta, Georgia.

Nice to have

• Experience specifically in data center construction or complex technical installation projects.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or ASP.
• Experience with incident investigation methodologies like 5-Why, TapRooT, or Fishbone.
• Familiarity with digital safety management systems such as Origami.
