Site Safety Manager (Data Center)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; on-site. Regular travel to local project sites may be required.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary safety representative for an assigned data center project site and maintain daily field presence.
• Integrate safety requirements into construction, installation, planning, scheduling, and execution with project leadership.
• Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, pre-task planning reviews, inspections, behavioral observations, and corrective actions.
• Review high-risk work procedures, including lockout/tagout, energized work, work at heights, lift plans, and confined-space work.
• Lead incident response, support root-cause investigations, prepare reports, and track safety trends.
• Coach technicians and contractors while promoting stop-work authority and a speak-up safety culture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of safety experience in construction, data centers, industrial, or technical installation environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and applicable industry practices.
• Experience conducting field inspections, implementing corrective actions, and influencing safe work behavior.
• Ability to manage safety programs in fast-paced, multi-contractor environments and work independently on site.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and outdoor or indoor safety training activities; ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center construction or complex technical installation projects.
• OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, ASP, or equivalent safety certification.
• Experience with 5-Why, TapRooT, Fishbone, or other incident investigation methodologies.
• Familiarity with digital safety management and reporting tools such as Origami.
• Experience supporting traveling or rotating technical workforces.
