TL;DR

Inside Sales Account Executive (Edtech): Managing new business opportunities and existing account books for K-12 digital curriculum solutions with an accent on lead generation and territory growth. Focus on cold-calling prospects, owning the full sales cycle, and leveraging Salesforce to drive revenue.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX (Must work in office Tuesday through Thursday)

Compensation: Total earning potential approximately $78,000/year (Base pay $25.75/hour)

What you will do

  • Develop new accounts and penetrate targeted territories to drive sales.
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Perform a minimum of 25 outbound calls and 25 emails daily.
  • Utilize Salesforce to accurately track and reflect all business activities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute outbound sales and email campaigns.
  • Manage an assigned book of current business to ensure retention and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or related field OR 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in the Austin, TX office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for phone and web presentations.
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in K-12 education (teaching or administration).
  • Proven track record in SaaS, PaaS, or software sales.
  • Experience selling solutions into the K-12 education market.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite.
