TL;DR

Associate Educational Sales Consultant (Edtech): Conducting cold outbound calls and qualifying inbound inquiries to support a growing customer base of educators and parents with an accent on transactional sales and virtual product demonstrations. Focus on identifying growth opportunities within target markets and managing lead pipelines via CRM.

Location: Must be based in San Mateo, CA (onsite)

Salary: $25–$26 per hour + commission

What you will do

  • Perform cold outbound calls and qualify inbound leads to identify customer needs and route opportunities.
  • Manage end-to-end transactional sales and ensure accurate CRM data entry.
  • Deliver engaging virtual product demonstrations to prospective users to communicate the value proposition.
  • Execute targeted sales campaigns and provide administrative support to the broader sales team.
  • Research target markets to identify and develop potential growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (new graduates, including class of 2026, are encouraged to apply).
  • Must be located in San Mateo, CA to work from the headquarters office.
  • Experience in customer service, inside sales, or education, preferably within EdTech or software.
  • Strong verbal (telephone), written, and presentation skills.
  • General understanding of web applications.

Nice to have

  • K12 classroom experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
