Wind Turbine Service Technician (Renewable Energy)

Location: Must live within a radius of up to 1 hour from Kilbraur Windfarm, Scottish Highlands

What you will do

• Perform general and specialized servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Nordex wind turbines to ensure high availability.
• Conduct physical troubleshooting and on-site performance analysis to increase fleet efficiency.
• Implement on-site software and hardware updates and provide technical demonstrations.
• Create detailed technical reports on turbine components and manage parameter disabling and alarm changes.
• Provide on-line and phone technical support for troubleshooting and fault-finding activities.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical training with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in the Mechanical/Electrical industry and ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams.
• Ability to work at heights up to 140m and pass a mandatory fitness and health test.
• Full UK or EU Driving Licence.
• Proficiency in MS Office, in-house databases, and workload management systems.
