What you will do

• Own medium-voltage components, especially switchgears, throughout their product lifecycle.
• Define specifications and support development, prototyping, serial introduction, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain component data and documentation in PDM and PLM systems.
• Analyze applicable standards and technical requirements and assess their impact on product development.
• Calculate technical parameters and support the configuration and parametrization of medium-voltage equipment.
• Plan, execute, evaluate, and document component- and turbine-level tests while coordinating with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, preferably focused on medium- or high-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of medium-voltage components and switchgears, ideally from power generation, renewable energy, or industrial environments.
• Experience with electrical component development, validation, testing, or lifecycle management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with PDM, PLM, or ERP systems such as Teamcenter and SAP is beneficial.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• Structured, proactive, solution-oriented working style and willingness to travel approximately 10–20% of the time.

Nice to have

• German and/or Spanish language skills.
• Experience with medium- or high-voltage systems in renewable energy or power generation.
