Location: Rostock or Hamburg, Germany, with up to 8 days of mobile work per month and approximately 10–20% travel to suppliers and test sites.

What you will do
- Own medium-voltage components, especially switchgears, throughout their product lifecycle.
- Define specifications and support development, prototyping, serial introduction, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain component data and documentation in PDM and PLM systems.
- Analyze applicable standards and technical requirements and assess their impact on product development.
- Calculate technical parameters and support the configuration and parametrization of medium-voltage equipment.
- Plan, execute, evaluate, and document component- and turbine-level tests while coordinating with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, preferably focused on medium- or high-voltage systems.
- Knowledge of medium-voltage components and switchgears, ideally from power generation, renewable energy, or industrial environments.
- Experience with electrical component development, validation, testing, or lifecycle management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with PDM, PLM, or ERP systems such as Teamcenter and SAP is beneficial.
- Fluent English communication skills are required.
- Structured, proactive, solution-oriented working style and willingness to travel approximately 10–20% of the time.
Nice to have
- German and/or Spanish language skills.
- Experience with medium- or high-voltage systems in renewable energy or power generation.
