SCADA Commissioning Technician

Location: Remote/traveling, with up to 50% travel required.

Salary: $83,109–$120,508 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Coordinate and integrate site-level SCADA design and commissioning activities.
• Act as the primary contact for onsite SCADA commissioning, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Manage and coordinate third-party engineers, commissioning personnel, SCADA integrators, vendors, and onsite technicians.
• Partner with design, procurement, construction, and engineering teams to align designs, equipment quantities, project requirements, and milestones.
• Support the development of designs and bills of materials for project estimating and procurement.
• Ensure SCADA systems meet safety, reliability, quality, and applicable NESC, NEC, NERC, FERC, and NFPA standards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of solar commissioning experience.
• At least 2 years of SCADA commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
• Associate degree in computer science or completion of an electrical technician program preferred; equivalent experience with a high school diploma required.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Plant monitoring experience.
• Field commissioning experience.
• Remote Operating Center or plant operations experience.
