Location: Remote within the United States

Base pay: $40,079–$45,000 per year, plus potential incentive, commission, or annual bonus pay.

What you will do

• Provide individualized and small-group academic support for students with IEP, Section 504, Gifted, and English Language Learner plans.
• Conduct synchronous one-to-one and group sessions using web conferencing tools and virtual whiteboards.
• Monitor student mastery and progress toward individual learning goals.
• Use performance data to determine interventions and recommend additional support.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school personnel, families, and learning-plan teams.
• Maintain active educator credentials, certifications, and required clearances while completing professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• At least two years of classroom experience and two or more years working with students with disabilities or specialized support needs.
• Valid, active teaching license in at least one state in Special Education, Gifted Education, English Language Learners, or another special-needs area.
• Highly qualified teacher status meeting or exceeding NCLB requirements.
• Experience with elementary and secondary at-risk students and students with special needs.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, organization, time management, collaboration, and technology skills, including Microsoft Office, online conferencing, database software, and NetSuite.

Nice to have

• Experience facilitating online courses.
• Experience with Genius SIS, Edgenuity, or Odysseyware.
