TL;DR
Exceptional Education Resource Specialist (EdTech): Providing specialized academic support to students with disabilities and those on individual learning plans with an accent on virtual and hybrid instruction. Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)
Salary: $40,079 – $45,000 per year

What you will do
- Provide academic support to help students meet the goals of IEP, Section 504, Gifted, or English Language Learner plans.
- Conduct 1:1 and group sessions synchronously using web conferencing tools and virtual whiteboards.
- Monitor student mastery and progress through various learning activities and performance data.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and communicate with families to determine necessary learning interventions.
- Maintain active educator credentials, certifications, and mandatory clearances.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Valid, active teaching license in at least one US state for Special Education, Gifted, ELL, or other special needs areas.
- At least 2 years of experience in a classroom setting working with students with disabilities or needing specialized supports.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online video conferencing systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a remote environment.
Nice to have
- Experience facilitating online courses.
- Experience using Genius SIS, Edgenuity, or Odysseyware products.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite.
