Associate Director, Instructional Impact (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates near hirify.global offices may work fully remotely or hybrid, with in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices or business meetings is required. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $56,000–$95,000 per year, adjusted based on location, experience, qualifications, and market data.

What you will do

• Advise instructional leaders on which resources should receive digital companions and determine the design approach for each.
• Design and build interactive digital learning companions for instructional resources, district engagement materials, and field enablement content.
• Restructure, condense, and sequence complex instructional content for accessible interactive formats.
• Establish reusable standards, templates, documentation, and component libraries for digital companion development.
• Prioritize companion development using expected engagement impact, build effort, usage data, and partner feedback.
• Report on adoption and engagement impact across instructional strategy, community strategy, and program success functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree in education, instructional design, or educational technology is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in instructional design, digital learning development, or educational technology content development.
• Proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience developing interactive digital learning assets, including simulations, multimedia, and JavaScript extensions.
• Familiarity with LMS technologies, xAPI, cmi5, and ADA Section 508/WCAG accessibility requirements.
• Strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage concurrent stakeholders, priorities, and timelines.

• Experience creating reusable design systems, templates, or component libraries.
