Senior Data and AI Consultant (Azure)

What you will do

• Design and deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions using Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
• Act as a trusted advisor to translate business requirements into scalable and secure data architectures.
• Lead data engineering efforts across ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics layers.
• Build and optimize Power BI reports and semantic models for actionable insights.
• Integrate Azure AI/ML capabilities, including predictive analytics and LLMs, into data platforms.
• Drive pre-sales activities, including solution shaping, proposals, and proof-of-concepts.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, SQL).
• Proven experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehousing, Real-Time Analytics).
• Advanced Power BI skills, including semantic modeling (DAX) and enterprise-scale deployments.
• Proficiency in building data pipelines using SQL, Python, and/or Spark.
• Experience integrating AI-driven insights (NLP, LLMs) into data platforms.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid arrangement in Glasgow, UK.
