TL;DR

People & Culture Partner (HR): Providing commercially focused people advice across the full employee lifecycle with an accent on employee relations, organisational change, and workforce planning. Focus on coaching managers through complex ER cases, implementing performance management strategies, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law.

Location: Remote, UK (with occasional travel to London)

What you will do

  • Partner with business leaders to provide pragmatic HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and TUPE consultations.
  • Coach managers and employees to improve performance and set meaningful development objectives.
  • Implement People policies ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and IR35 contractor requirements.
  • Promote cultural values and implement improvements for diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in an operational/generalist HR role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases independently.
  • Experience supporting organisational restructures and TUPE transfers.
  • Understanding of contractor compliance and IR35 requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or substantial equivalent experience.
