TL;DR

Enterprise Account Executive (GovTech): Driving net-new business growth within the local public sector by managing full-cycle sales for complex enterprise software solutions. Focus on building pipeline, navigating intricate procurement processes, and closing high-value deals within the Eastern territory of North America.

Location: Must be based in the US, with a preference for the Northeast or Southeast regions or near a major airport hub. Regular travel (at least once a month) to client sites and events is required.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 base salary + competitive commission (OTE 50/50).

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet and exceed aggressive sales targets.
  • Facilitate the full sales cycle, including presentations, software demonstrations, and contract negotiations.
  • Communicate strategically with potential clients to identify business needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Represent the company at conferences, marketing events, and prospective client meetings.
  • Support proposal development by understanding win themes, budget constraints, and competitive positioning.
  • Manage complex buying committees and partner-influenced opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US with the ability to travel regularly to client sites and events.
  • 5+ years of experience selling software and service business solutions.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing and selling SaaS, BPM, Document Management, ERP, or CRM solutions.
  • Minimum of 3 years selling into a regulated industry (Public Sector, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in managing complex sales opportunities and procurement processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a track record of over-achieving sales goals.
