TL;DR

Principal Account Executive (Legaltech): Driving the full sales cycle for AI and legal technology solutions targeting AmLaw 150 firms with an accent on consultative enterprise sales and multi-stakeholder deal closure. Focus on navigating complex legal markets, building C-level relationships, and translating product features into high-impact business outcomes.

Location: Hybrid (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, Sydney, and New York). Local employees are expected to be in the office minimum twice per week.

Salary: $136,000 – $204,000 USD (Base) + Uncapped Commission ($136,000 – $204,000 USD target).

What you will do

  • Manage a named account list and drive the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to contract close.
  • Lead product demos and executive meetings to connect legal pain points to clear business outcomes.
  • Build strategic, lasting relationships with senior partners, general counsel, and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, customer success, and marketing to refine messaging and support client success.
  • Evolve the company's sales playbook by identifying scalable strategies and capturing market learnings.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within the legaltech domain.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing large, multi-threaded enterprise deals.
  • Direct experience selling into AmLaw 150 firms and commanding rooms with senior executives.
  • High proficiency with CRM tools and sales metrics.
  • Willingness to travel to client meetings and events as needed.
