What you will do
- Drive new merchant acquisition within the assigned territory through proactive field sales to ensure sustainable revenue growth.
- Negotiate competitive and profitable pricing aligned with business targets and market conditions.
- Build and manage strong merchant relationships, overseeing the full lifecycle from onboarding to ongoing performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Monitor sales pipelines, market trends, and competitor activities to optimize territory strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in financial services with a track record of achieving targets.
- Solid understanding of merchant services, payments, or the credit card business.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute sales strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Must be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Nice to have
- Experience specifically in credit card acquiring or payments industry sales.
- Exposure to territory planning, forecasting, or sales analytics.
- Tertiary education in Business, Marketing, or Management.
- Possession of own transportation and willingness to travel within the territory.
