TL;DR
Sales Executive (Academic Publishing): Promoting online resources to customers and prospects in Malaysia with an accent on sales strategy execution and pipeline growth. Location: Must be based in Malaysia and live within a commutable distance to the Petaling Jaya office (Hybrid: minimum 3 days per week in-person).

What you will do
- Establish and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Malaysian market.
- Maximize sales revenue to consistently meet and exceed targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure sustainable growth.
- Manage strong working relationships with agents and other channel partners.
- Travel within Malaysia for in-person client visits and attendance at professional conferences.
- Collaborate with global product and sales teams to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales position.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both speaking and writing).
- Legal right to work and live in Malaysia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferred).
- Strong consultative sales skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with CRM databases.
Nice to have
- Knowledge and experience in academic publishing.
- Experience selling into Academic Higher Education library markets.
- Proven track record of selling digital content directly and via third parties.
