What you will do

• Deliver complex tactical and operational projects to enhance MES applications and workflows.
• Design and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and process yield.
• Collaborate with process engineering, wafer operations, and global IT teams to implement approved enhancements.
• Provide day-to-day operational support and resolve issues within the MES applications.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and reuse across existing MES tools and processes.
• Contribute insights and share knowledge through cross-site technical discussions.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience supporting and enhancing production systems, automation, or data applications.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience using statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with visual programming or workflow-based automation tools.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite at the Normandale campus in Bloomington, MN, US.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer), Physics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or IT.
• Knowledge of wafer fabrication, semiconductor manufacturing, or factory operations.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or R.
• Experience with Oracle (PL/SQL) or other relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Lean methods and data interchange formats (APIs, JSON, XML).
