What you will do

• Design and run an AI-first onboarding experience from Day 0 to Day 90 to reduce time-to-impact for new engineers.
• Partner with Developer Infrastructure to operationalize AI tools in daily workflows like PR synthesis and incident summaries.
• Codify engineering systems, development lifecycle, and release practices into living documentation and training.
• Design and scale technical learning programs, including workshops and demos, to build fluency in AI and emerging technologies.
• Enable Engineering Manager effectiveness by delivering training on planning, execution, and leadership norms.
• Define and track north-star metrics for onboarding, learning, and productivity initiatives using data and experimentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5–8+ years of experience across software engineering, developer productivity, platform tools, or engineering operations.
• Strong background as a technical practitioner with deep understanding of IDEs, Git, CI/CD, and testing.
• Proven ability to act as an operator-teacher who creates clarity and reduces ambiguity.
• Experience designing onboarding programs, bootcamps, or developer education initiatives.
• Collaborative mindset with experience partnering across functions like HR, Recruiting, and Engineering Leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience measuring and publishing developer experience impact metrics (e.g., review SLAs, CI stability).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and lightweight workflow automation.
• Strong technical writing portfolio and experience designing labs or guilds.
• Experience rolling out internal AI tools and establishing responsible-use guardrails.
