What you will do

• Own and execute the IP Core design, optimisation, and modernisation strategy.
• Act as the formal design authority for cross-domain architectural decisions and trade-offs.
• Drive end-to-end network performance initiatives focused on scalability and risk reduction.
• Lead the IP innovation roadmap, integrating new technologies while maintaining network stability.
• Provide technical stewardship for IP transformation programs to ensure disciplined delivery.
• Lead engineering teams and manage vendor partnerships to align technology with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred) with professional certifications like CCNP/CCIE.
• 15+ years in IP network engineering, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering large, complex, multi-stream engineering projects.
• Strong expertise in IP routing, MPLS, QoS, Carrier Ethernet, and network virtualisation.
• Familiarity with SRv6, automation tools (Netconf/YANG, Ansible), and cloud-native networking.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in matrix environments and influence executive stakeholders.
