What you will do
- Manage and maintain enterprise servers to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Perform risk assessments, OS updates, and vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor system capacity and report on usage to support business continuity.
- Ensure backup systems are validated and ready for disaster recovery.
- Resolve escalated support requests and incidents within SLA requirements.
- Lead or assist in the delivery of infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.
Requirements
- Must be based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne, Australia.
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in server administration.
- Demonstrated experience in Windows and/or Linux server administration.
- Strong knowledge of system monitoring, patching, and backup management.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
- Experience with automation tools.
