What you will do

  • Manage and maintain enterprise servers to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Perform risk assessments, OS updates, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Monitor system capacity and report on usage to support business continuity.
  • Ensure backup systems are validated and ready for disaster recovery.
  • Resolve escalated support requests and incidents within SLA requirements.
  • Lead or assist in the delivery of infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne, Australia.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in server administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in Windows and/or Linux server administration.
  • Strong knowledge of system monitoring, patching, and backup management.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with automation tools.
