What you will do

• Draft, edit, and publish help center content and release notes for NGP VAN products.
• Translate product features into written guidance using internal specifications, SME interviews, and product testing.
• Contribute to documentation templates and maintain consistent voice.
• Perform light HTML or CMS formatting as needed and capture/annotate screenshots.
• Participate in documentation review cycles and incorporate feedback.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience writing, editing, or providing documentation support.
• Experience with help centers, customer support content, or SaaS product writing.
• Ability to write clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences; strong grammar and editing skills.
• Comfort working across multiple systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence, WordPress, and other tools).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment authorization sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Exposure to union clients or political campaign environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with digital organizing tools or CRMs.
