TL;DR

Senior Content Author (AEM): Designing and authoring complex web components and applications with an accent on CMS administration and front-end integration. Focus on maintaining high-quality web standards, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating across creative and technical teams to meet performance targets.

Location: Must be based in San Jose, Costa Rica. This role requires working from the office a minimum of 3 days a week.

What you will do

  • Design and author components for simple and complex web applications.
  • Implement user and business requirements through multi-step authoring activities.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Business, Technology, and QA teams to ensure functional and performance targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation following capability best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex issues within existing web applications.
  • Oversee and test the development of new components.

Requirements

  • English: B2+ proficiency required.
  • 4+ years of experience working with content management systems such as AEM, Sitecore, or TeamSite.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser and responsive development principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control methodologies and issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Understanding of data transfer formats such as JSON and XML.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
