TL;DR

Partner Account Manager (Fintech): Developing and scaling referral networks with tech partners, HCM providers, and financial advisors to expand retirement plan access for SMBs with an accent on lead generation and strategic partnership growth. Focus on building high-impact relationships, executing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

Location: Must be based in Houston, Texas, with a requirement to be in the field 3 days/week.

Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000 (OTE)

What you will do

  • Develop and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors.
  • Create strategic referral networks focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to resolve operational issues.
  • Work with Partner Marketing to execute unique initiatives like webinars and educational events.
  • Establish and track performance metrics to develop effective go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in territory sales or business development within the SMB space.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with tech and HCM partners, brokers, or financial advisors.
  • Ability to be in the field 3 days/week.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for managing sales cycles.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to absorb training and implement feedback.
