Navigation Engineer (Electronics)

Location: Houston, Texas, USA. Hybrid (may telecommute up to 2 days per week).

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and install electronic and survey-related equipment using standard diagnostic procedures.
• Perform hardware, firmware, and software installations on clients' vessels, including interfacing with existing systems.
• Work offshore from floating vessels to ensure equipment functionality and operational success.
• Conduct chip-level repairs and maintenance of field equipment.
• Provide remote and on-call technical support to clients and act as a technical liaison for project managers and field crews.
• Manage equipment mobilization and maintain the company asset control system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Electronics engineering, or a similar technical field.
• At least 24 months of experience in field surveying, electronic repairs, and working with GPS/GNSS equipment.
• Valid U.S. driver license.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
• HSSE certificate for working offshore.
