What you will do
- Perform installation, upgrading, repair, and preventative maintenance of PC hardware, printers, and scanners.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using appropriate tools.
- Manage service incidents by tracking, monitoring, and providing timely updates to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding scheduling and status of service requests.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk and System Engineering teams to resolve complex incidents.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all service activities and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Must be based in Decatur, Alabama or surrounding area
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting technology hardware including PCs, laptops, and printers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and off-hours as necessary to meet client needs.
- Valid driver’s license required for travel to client sites.
Nice to have
- Degree in Information Systems or Engineering.
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- MCP, MCSA, or Server+ certifications.
