TL;DR

IT Help Desk Technician: Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for a growing corporate group with an accent on hardware/software troubleshooting and office infrastructure maintenance. Focus on resolving user issues, managing IT assets, and ensuring seamless operation of conference room and desk equipment.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY. The role is on-site 4 days per week with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Salary: $28–$32/hr

What you will do

  • Respond to 1st and 2nd line support requests via the IT helpdesk.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware and software environments.
  • Configure and set up desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Maintain office technology, including conference room A/V and desk equipment.
  • Manage IT asset inventory and stock levels.
  • Provide basic remote support for home-based colleagues.

Requirements

  • Must be based in New York, NY and able to work on-site 4 days per week.
  • Background in 1st line support within Microsoft, Apple, or Google environments.
  • Experience in Windows or MacOS administration.
  • Knowledge of MDM platforms like InTune or Kandji.
  • Experience with IT helpdesk ticketing systems such as Freshservice.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to manage multiple office locations.

Nice to have

  • Experience troubleshooting conference room A/V issues.
  • Experience troubleshooting common office WiFi issues.
