What you will do

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, and relevant financial regulations.
• Manage the revenue recognition process, including ASC 606 compliance and contract reviews.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to scale financial systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and GAAP expertise.
• In-depth understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
• Proficiency with NetSuite is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred).
