What you will do

  • Handle complex insurance policies and manage post-commitment policy administration.
  • Provide direct and indirect customer support through face-to-face, phone, and electronic communication.
  • Collaborate with Insurance Officers to prepare quotes, update CRM systems, and process documentation.
  • Manage claim processes, reporting forms, and accounting tasks related to insurance products.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for core products to meet customer needs.
  • Mentor and train other team members while serving as a cross-regional resource.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Yankton, SD or surrounding area
  • Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience in insurance and/or agriculture.
  • Proficiency in insurance processing, data management, and customer portfolio handling.
  • Ability to manage multiple AIP systems and written agreements.
  • Strong communication skills for maintaining professional customer relationships.
