What you will do

• Provide legal counsel on privacy assessments and data privacy product matters.
• Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and FAQ libraries for cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and advise on evolving privacy laws and regulatory developments to update internal policies.
• Review marketing initiatives to ensure full compliance with data protection laws.
• Draft and negotiate privacy and data security terms in contracts and data processing agreements (DPAs).
• Support the broader Privacy Program and vendor management offboarding processes.

Requirements

• JD degree and admission to a state bar.
• 3 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience focused on data privacy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CCPA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM and other data privacy regulations.
• Experience advising on direct-to-consumer product and marketing initiatives.
• Proven track record of drafting and negotiating data protection agreements.
• Must be based in the USA.

• Experience in the healthcare space, particularly direct-to-consumer healthcare.
