TL;DR

(Associate) Account Manager (German Speaker): Manage a portfolio of up to 30 customers and drive customer success across the DACH region with an accent on sustainable procurement program adoption, account planning, and cross-functional issue resolution. Focus on building executive relationships, supporting renewals and upsell opportunities, and ensuring operational KPIs through proactive project management.

Location: Barcelona - Hybrid (8 days a month from the office)

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of up to 30 customers, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement with hirify.global solutions and tools.
  • Support customers throughout the lifecycle by explaining sustainable procurement building blocks and helping integrate hirify.global into relevant processes and tools.
  • Build and maintain relationships with project managers, decision makers, and executive sponsors; develop and maintain Account Plans.
  • Act as main point of contact and provide proactive/reactive project management support and resources for customer programs.
  • Coordinate between customer and hirify.global teams (sales, sustainability, operations) to solve challenges and identify opportunities.
  • Monitor operations with customers (forecast and delivery) to meet operational KPIs and support contract renewals and upsell opportunities.

Requirements

  • German and English fluency (written and verbal) is required.
  • 5+ years of successful customer/account management or consulting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to summarize key findings in a presentable PowerPoint presentation.
  • Excellent Excel and data analytical skills; experience developing Account Plans.
  • Computer literate with MS Office/Google Suite and CRM/project management tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment and stay agile in changing conditions.

Nice to have

  • Additional language fluency (Polish).
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and SaaS.
