Assembly and Test Commodity Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work

Annual salary: $128,080–$214,440 USD

What you will do

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and statements of work with suppliers.
• Develop and execute multi-year commodity strategies using industry and market analysis.
• Lead supplier selection, sourcing, performance management, supplier development, and global relationship management.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to procure materials and services cost-effectively.
• Conduct executive reviews, identify cost-saving opportunities, and develop ROI and cost analysis models.
• Drive business continuity, sustainability, procurement policy compliance, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
• At least 3 years of experience with contracting, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Advanced knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, market dynamics, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• This position is not open to hirify.global immigration sponsorship.
• Ability to lead complex negotiations, manage ambiguity, communicate effectively, and influence executive-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
• Experience with commodity management and program management.
• Familiarity with hirify.global procurement policies and supplier tools such as Ariba.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and execution speed.
