What you will do

• Lead power electronics and analog board design, integration, and verification for aerospace and defense programs.
• Develop architectures for power distribution, DC/DC conversion, analog front ends, and monitoring circuitry.
• Execute schematic design and simulations for power and analog circuits.
• Oversee PCB layout for low-noise analog design, high-current power paths, and thermal management.
• Conduct design margin evaluations, tolerance analysis, and failure analysis for mission-critical hardware.
• Collaborate with RF, digital, embedded software, and mechanical teams to resolve complex system integration issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in designing complex power and analog electronics for aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems.
• Strong knowledge of DC/DC conversion, regulation, EMI/EMC mitigation, and signal conditioning.
• Hands-on experience in hardware verification, qualification testing, and production transition.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to El Segundo, CA.

Nice to have

• Advanced Degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with Avionics platforms and aerospace standards (RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-461, etc.).
• Experience with low- and high-voltage aerospace applications (28 VDC and 270 VDC).
• History of contributing to engineering design standards and qualification processes.
