Location: Onsite in Phoenix, AZ, at ’s Gilbert, AZ facility
Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do
- Architect and design high-reliability power electronics, including DC-DC converters, inverters, motor drives, and battery-management systems.
- Perform circuit design, simulation, component selection, schematic capture, and guide PCB layout, thermal, and EMI/EMC activities.
- Lead hardware bring-up, integration, debugging, verification, and qualification.
- Develop and review specifications, design reviews, test plans, and verification documentation.
- Resolve complex technical issues through structured root-cause analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship and collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of power electronics design experience in aerospace, defense, industrial, or other high-reliability applications.
- Strong experience designing DC-DC converters or related power conversion circuits.
- Experience with Cadence Allegro, Altium, or similar schematic capture and PCB design tools.
- Experience with SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, Mathcad, or equivalent simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of power semiconductor devices, with MOSFET experience required, and the ability to support hardware from architecture through qualification and production.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a related field.
- Experience with harsh-environment, space, radiation-tolerant, or radiation-hardened electronics.
- Experience with motor control, reliability analysis, system integration, mentoring, or technical design reviews.
