What you will do

• Design and develop power electronics systems, including battery architectures and power conversion for high-performance flight vehicles.
• Lead the optimization of power controllers and management systems to ensure stability across all mission phases.
• Analyze battery systems, focusing on selection, packaging, thermal considerations, and safety mechanisms.
• Collaborate with avionics, GNC, and flight software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct circuit-level and system-level modeling and simulation using SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent tools.
• Support hardware bring-up, integration, and test campaigns, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics design for aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems.
• Strong background in battery systems and DC-DC power conversion architectures.
• Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools such as SPICE or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with hardware bring-up and testing in a lab or flight hardware environment.
• U.S. citizenship is required for the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
