What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of 100kW to MW class power electronics, including on-board chargers, DC-DC converters, and traction inverters.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of high-voltage components from conceptual design through vehicle-level integration and testing.
• Execute complex mixed-signal PCB designs optimizing for reliability and performance based on IPC standards.
• Conduct DFMEA, worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA), and thermal evaluations to ensure system robustness.
• Develop test protocols and lead hands-on bring-up in laboratories and external test sites.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and EMI/EMC issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Proven track record of designing and testing power electronics in the 100kW+ range.
• Expertise in analog/digital electronics, power conversion, control theory, motor drives, and battery systems.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer (or similar) and circuit simulation software like LTspice.
• Academic background (BS/MS/PhD) in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics focused on high voltage systems.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex EMI/EMC related issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Megawatt (MW) scale power electronics.
• Familiarity with embedded firmware development and digital communication specifications.
• Experience using CATIA to support design releases.
