Field Operations Specialist

TL;DR

Field Operations Specialist (tactical systems): Deploy and field hirify.global software and hardware in operational environments while troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues. Focus on leading hands-on troubleshooting in the field, coordinating deployments across logistics/engineering/program teams, and supporting mission success through CONUS/OCONUS travel with an emphasis on flawless execution.

What you will do

• Coordinate, plan, and set up internal R&D testing, customer demonstrations, exercises, and deliveries.
• Support installation, configuration, integration, and fielding of company systems.
• Lead basic system troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to engineering with detailed reproduction steps and operational context.
• Cross-functionally coordinate with logistics, engineering, and program teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Work full-time onsite at headquarters in Hawthorne, CA and travel regularly for product testing, demonstrations, and deliveries (50%).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting military, government, or enterprise technology systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments; solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with tactical communications, networking, sensors, UAS, C2 systems, or AI-enabled platforms.
• Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools such as Slack, Teams, and Zoom.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Military Science, or related field.
• Experience as FSR/FAE, Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Operations Engineer with a hardware component.
• Knowledge of radar, RF, sensors, weapons systems, and defense communications.
• Military background or extensive experience working with militaries.
