Robotics Field Technician II (Robotics)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; five days per week in the office when not actively on deployment; travel within the United States required, up to 75%

What you will do

• Travel to deployment locations to install, commission, inspect, and troubleshoot robotic food systems.
• Perform mechanical installation, electrical wiring, pneumatic plumbing, hardware installation, functional checks, and punch-list work.
• Execute applications tests in the Boston lab, including equipment and ingredient preparation, prototype assembly, validation, and data collection.
• Identify unexpected conditions and quality or safety issues, escalating them when required.
• Maintain test records, checklists, work instructions, and SOP feedback.
• Support lab operations through equipment organization, prototype disassembly, shipping, returns, cleaning, and storage.

Requirements

• At least two years of related experience as a service, assembly, robotics, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, or similar technician.
• First-level troubleshooting skills across mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, and controls systems, including PLC-related systems.
• Working knowledge of mechanical assembly, basic electrical wiring, pneumatic plumbing, hand tools, power tools, and volt/ohm meters.
• Ability to travel flexibly, travel up to 75%, and maintain consistent access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Clear professional communication in English is required.
