Mortgage Loan Processor

Location: Must be based in or within driving distance of Jefferson City, MO (On-site role)

What you will do

• Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
• Verify borrower financial information including income, assets, liabilities, and employment.
• Coordinate with third-party companies to obtain necessary documentation like title commitments and hazard insurance.
• Submit files to underwriting and proactively resolve conditions to reach clear-to-close status.
• Maintain regular communication with borrowers throughout the loan processing lifecycle.
• Submit finalized files to the loan closer for settlement.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Mortgage Loan Processing is required.
• Strong understanding of the mortgage loan process and required documentation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer technologies for a paperless office environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Must be able to work on-site in Jefferson City, MO.

• Knowledge of Encompass LOS.
