What you will do

• Originate residential mortgage loans and achieve established sales goals.
• Guide customers through the mortgage application process and provide recommendations based on their needs.
• Manage the loan pipeline by entering data and creating supporting files for underwriting.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, realtors, and closing agents to ensure timely loan completion.
• Develop a network of referrals from realtors, developers, and attorneys.
• Maintain strict compliance with SAFE Act and Regulation Z guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent progressive work experience.
• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience.
• Eligibility for registration as a mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.
• Proven sales ability and high-level negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC and ability to learn automated underwriting systems.
