Senior Bilingual Loan Processor (Mortgage)

Location: Remote USA; Eastern Standard Time Zone working hours required

What you will do

• Review borrower credit, employment, income, assets, and application completeness before underwriting.
• Assemble complete loan packages, verify documentation, complete checklists, and prepare loan approval summaries and Forms 1008 and 1003.
• Communicate with loan originators, customers, underwriters, vendors, and third parties to obtain missing documentation, property surveys, flood certificates, title commitments, and payoff information.
• Review loans for compliance with RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Regulation B, and other mortgage-related regulations; prepare required disclosures.
• Manage the loan pipeline, reports, turnaround times, vendor invoices, e-files, and application communication logs.
• Support closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing, and train or help supervise new processors.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required to communicate with internal and external customers.
• At least 5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of RESPA and general knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including Regulation Z and Regulation B.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Encompass experience and availability to work varying hours or overtime when needed.
