What you will do

• Guide borrowers through the mortgage process, assess financial situations, and recommend appropriate loan products.
• Underwrite and approve mortgage applications up to $350,000 based on program guidelines.
• Coordinate with realtors, title agents, and correspondent lending partners to ensure accurate and timely loan transactions.
• Ensure strict adherence to NCUA, CFPB, TILA-RESPA, and other federal and state regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to generate increased mortgage volume.
• Collaborate with Processors and Credit Analysts to ensure a smooth member experience.

Requirements

• Active NMLS Identifier Number is required.
• Must be based in the United States.
• 1+ year of current Mortgage Lending Officer experience within a financial institution.
• Prior sales experience.
• Associate degree or commensurate professional experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
