Senior System Administrator

Location: Fairmont Royal York, Toronto, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 65,000–80,000 per year

What you will do

• Resolve colleague help desk tickets across the Central Canada region in line with service-level agreements.
• Maintain employee workstation hardware, hotel Wi-Fi equipment, IDF/MDF infrastructure, and technology inventories.
• Monitor disaster recovery systems, daily backups, antivirus logs, and the Cortex XDR enterprise console.
• Complete PCI initiatives and execute hotel-driven IT projects under IT leadership.
• Maintain technology services documentation and contribute to the regional knowledge base.
• Participate in regional 24/7 after-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in system administration and networking.
• A+ certification and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification or equivalent.
• Cisco certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and self-direction.
• Ability to participate in after-hours on-call support.

• Understanding of hotel operations.
• Previous supervisory and training experience.
