What you will do

• Own the full training lifecycle from onboarding to advanced certification for technical staff.
• Develop and maintain training curriculum, SOPs, and assessment tools aligned with engineering and quality standards.
• Directly supervise and coach a team of Technical Trainers to elevate instructional capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense standards like IPC/WHMA-A-620, AS9100, and NADCAP.
• Define and track key training KPIs to connect outcomes to production performance and quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and HR to support workforce planning and production scaling.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible under ITAR regulations.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in wire harness assembly or electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• 5+ years as a Technical Trainer in a production environment.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Deep familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and aerospace/defense quality standards.
• Proven ability to build and manage structured training programs and curriculum design.

Nice to have

• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Trainer (CIT) certification.
• Experience managing training operations during manufacturing scale-up.
• Proficiency in ERP/MES systems for record management.
• Background in instructional design or adult learning principles.
