TL;DR

What you will do

  • Engage with UK policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders to advocate for policy frameworks supporting the open web.
  • Build and execute public policy campaigns from the ground up to raise hirify.global’s profile in the UK.
  • Represent hirify.global in external forums, industry groups, and public venues on key policy issues.
  • Monitor and communicate emerging policy issues and regulatory trends across the UK and EU.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable policy insights for internal teams.
  • Lead policy-related projects end-to-end, managing timelines, stakeholders, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK with demonstrated experience in the UK policy environment (e.g., UK Government, Westminster, CMA, ICO).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in technology policy.
  • Familiarity with EU policy processes and stakeholders.
  • Strong policy writing, research, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion.
  • Experience working with international teams and cross-functional collaborators.

Nice to have

  • Experience in competition and privacy policy.
  • Exposure to civil society or non-profit technology environments.
