What you will do

• Lead public affairs for government programs, owning the external narrative and publicity.
• Manage government and agency media relations and navigate approval cycles.
• Position TRM and program leaders as credible voices in public moments.
• Lead rapid response for reputational, regulatory, or program-related events.
• Operate with discretion inside approval-gated, confidentiality-heavy environments.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years in strategic communications or public affairs.
• Meaningful experience with federal agencies, the executive branch, or Capitol Hill.
• Proven ownership of high-stakes external communications and senior-level positioning.
• Experience with government review, message-clearance, and approval cycles.
• AI-fluent with a proactive experimentation mindset.
• Based in (or able to be highly present in) Washington, DC.
