What you will do

  • Develop and execute market growth plans in collaboration with practice leaders and principals.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage the performance of assigned business development professionals.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through strategic lead generation and outreach.
  • Facilitate regular reporting on sales performance and business development metrics to leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align advertising, sponsorships, and events with growth goals.
  • Participate in proposal processes and manage pursuit strategies for key prospects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of business development experience in a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven experience managing a team of business development or marketing professionals.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales and marketing processes, including pipeline and account management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Ability to travel periodically for meetings, events, and sales activities.

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial services, investment banking, or business advisory firms.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
