What you will do

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth goals and revenue targets.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle from initial prospecting and outreach through signed contract.
  • Lead discovery conversations, pitch presentations, and negotiations for high-value engagements.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and provide regular sales reporting and reliable revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to design tailored recommendations, pricing, and scopes of work.
  • Represent the agency at conferences and industry events to strengthen market visibility.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business development or sales within a marketing agency, consulting firm, or political organization.
  • Proven success selling professional services to nonprofits, foundations, advocacy organizations, or associations.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value client engagements from prospecting to execution.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools.
  • Strong proposal development, presentation, and negotiation skills for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to leverage emerging AI technologies to improve pipeline management and research.
