What you will do

• Initiate and plan highly complex, strategic projects: define scope, objectives, deliverables, and build business cases and project charters.
• Own project governance and integrated planning: manage dependencies, critical path, schedules, budgets, and corrective actions.
• Lead and motivate project teams while mentoring project managers and other team members on project management best practices.
• Manage stakeholders and communications: set up communication plans, provide status reporting, and resolve conflicts.
• Support negotiations and contract management: manage vendors, ensure compliance, and handle change orders and contract modifications.
• Drive financial and risk management: track expenses, forecast costs/resources, and escalate critical risks/issues with mitigation recommendations.

Requirements

• Must reside in Canada.
• French fluency required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive project management experience, including highly complex, strategic, cross-functional projects.
• Proven experience managing project budgets/financial performance and negotiating complex contracts with vendors.
• Strong expertise in project management methodologies and governance/decision-making processes.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
