Senior Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own the FedRAMP Moderate program end-to-end: gap assessment, remediation, continuous monitoring, and audit-driven improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery to implement NIST 800-53 controls and maintain SSPs and POA&Ms.
• Manage multi-framework certification planning and reporting, including evidence creation (e.g., SARs, incident response plans, vulnerability management records).
• Partner with Cloud Engineering to align technical architecture and security control implementations with FedRAMP baselines, including identity management, data flows, and API integrations.
• Lead vulnerability management and incident response frameworks to ensure consistent data protection across the technology stack.
• Communicate risks, dependencies, and progress to executive leadership; liaise with 3PAOs, federal sponsor agencies, and cloud service providers.

Requirements

• 10+ years in IT project management or solution architecture for enterprise or government platforms.
• Direct hands-on experience managing FedRAMP certification(s), including documentation, continuous monitoring, and 3PAO engagement (or equivalent regulatory/assurance programs such as DoD SRG, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GxP).
• PMP (or equivalent project management certification).
• Deep working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with security control implementation, cloud network/security architecture, IAM, encryption, and logging.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and continuous monitoring operations.
• Experience working with Third Party Assessment Organizations, federal compliance bodies, and cloud providers.
